Want this?
Well, you need to find a local u-pick strawberry farm.
And get a cute girl to pick strawberries for you!
Make sure you teach her how to find the right berries. My kiddo plucked about 50 of what I would call miniberries. You will see her handiwork a picture below.
We had to dodge a few wasps and bees. This is hard work.
Walk up and down row after row until you fill basket after basket.
One quart (piled high) is only 50 cents!!!!
I love strawberries!!!
I couldn't stop picking them.
We ended up with 8 quart size containers of juicy strawberries.
You may even pick a flower off the plant. Katie wanted to know all about how strawberries grow. This flower started the talk. First a flower and later a bright red juicy berry. God is amazing!!!!
Make sure you wash them several times.
Fill a bowl after you dry them a bit.
Oh, here's Katie's favorite strawberry.
See she likes things that are little, like her.
When we picked out a pumpkin last year she wanted the little cutie ones NOT the big honkers.
She told us that she is little and needs little things.
So, if you take my girl strawberry picking you will find some of these "hard-for-Katie-to-resist-miniberries" mixed in your quarts.
Katie loved every step of the process and helped me the whole time.
She had no problem eating it either!
Oh Yes, it was that good!!!!
And I ate it twice today.
